Hey guys I have a quick question. Are there any good training schools in the Fairfax area? I asked Mofo and PQ about schools a year or so ago and they gave me some great answers, but some family health and employment problems came up and I had to push things back. I am starting a new job in Fairfax so I figured I would look for a wrestling school in the area. The closest I can come up with is Duane Gill's school in Severn MD so I figured I would ask those in the know to see if you had any suggestions.

The only ones I can think of would be GXW in Richmond Va. or Jason from The Set has just opened one up as well. Try these two addresses to check distance
GXW Wrestling School 804 356 0583 5114 Glen alden Drive Henrico Va Lead trainer: Sonjay Dutt Lead Referee trainer: Earl Hebner In The Biz Pro Wrestling Academy 540 457 6333 2627 Stuarts draft highway Stuarts draft VA 24477 Lead trainer: Jason Ferrier Not to say there are not anymore closer but these are the only ones I know of. Hope it helps. |

I heard nothing but good stuff from Gillberg's school. Just to answer that question.

Thanks guys. I was looking into GXW before I moved, but I believe the trip would be too much for me to handle right now to be ready for work the next day. I did read about the guy at Gillberg's, but never saw any real story of what happened. It's a real shame either way.

GXW is open 6 days a week now with alot of new guys training during the day and weekend. You now can get one on one training for your regular fees if there normal class time does not work. It is also open to all workers now with a per use charge. For that charge they can train with the Thai Kickboxing team as well. Doors are open from 11am till 5pm monday thru friday and on demand on weekends. Food for thought. "Money " approved! New commercials for the school can be seen weekly on ROH, Smackdown and Impact in the Richmond Va area starting in March after the "official" annoucment of Earl and Sonjay taking over the training schedule for 2012......MJ has also agreed to be in multiple times this year to help with the ladies. Strong year for trainees!

Wasn't aware of the death there. *looks into it* .... love to know what bump did it. From what the mom says, it sounds like it was a clothesline bump.
